A simple, refreshing tea recipe featuring citrus, pear, and ginger for a light detoxifying drink.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 inches fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Combine water, pear slices, orange slices, lemon slices, and ginger slices in a saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into mugs.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup if using.
- Serve hot or chill for iced tea.
Notes
- For a stronger ginger flavor, lightly crush the ginger slices before adding them to the water.
- You can substitute lime for lemon if preferred.
- Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
