Description
A quick and flavorful dish featuring shrimp and broccoli tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the broccoli florets and cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly tender-crisp. Remove broccoli from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the cooked broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve this dish over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
- You can substitute vegetable broth for chicken broth if preferred.
