Description
A quick and easy pasta dish using canned tuna.
Ingredients

- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 (5 oz) can tuna in water, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, and lemon juice.
- Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Season the tuna mixture with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Add the cooked pasta to the tuna mixture. Toss to coat evenly.
- Serve warm or cold.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use tuna packed in oil and drain lightly.
- You can add 1/4 cup of frozen peas during the last minute of pasta cooking.
