Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 cup steamed broccoli florets

- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a small bowl to make the teriyaki sauce.

- Preheat your broiler or grill to medium-high heat.
- Place salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet or grill grate. Discard the marinade used for the fish.

- Divide the cooked rice into two bowls.
- Top the rice with the cooked salmon and steamed broccoli.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute brown rice for white rice.
