Description

A refreshing, non-alcoholic drink combining fresh strawberries and tart grapefruit juice.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe strawberries
  • 4 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 tsp simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4 oz sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. Place the strawberries and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Muddle them until well crushed.
  3. Add the grapefruit juice and lime juice to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice.
  5. Shake well until the shaker is cold.
  6. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  7. Top the drink with sparkling water or club soda.
  8. Stir gently to combine.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, increase the simple syrup amount slightly.
  • Use chilled sparkling water for the best fizz.
  • Garnish with a strawberry slice or a grapefruit wedge.
