- 1/4 cup dandelion roots, cleaned and chopped
- 1/2 cup dried strawberries
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Roast the dandelion roots in a dry skillet over medium heat until they are dark brown and fragrant, about 15 to 20 minutes. Stir often to prevent burning.
- Let the roasted roots cool completely.
- Combine the roasted dandelion roots and dried strawberries in a saucepan with 6 cups of water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve into a teapot or mugs.
- Serve hot.
