Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and dry the sweet potatoes well. Do not peel them.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into fry shapes, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Place the cut sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Add salt, pepper, and paprika to the bowl. Toss everything together until the fries are evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overlap them.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through the cooking time, until they are tender inside and slightly browned on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before drying and seasoning.
- You can adjust the spices to your taste, adding garlic powder or chili powder if desired.
