Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain off excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef in the skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the sesame oil.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are coated with the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
- Use low-sodium soy sauce for a lower salt content.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
