Description

A simple recipe for making a sweet and creamy whipped coffee drink with vanilla flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee granules
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk the mixture vigorously until it becomes thick, light brown, and holds stiff peaks. This may take 3 to 5 minutes by hand or less with an electric mixer.
  3. Stir the vanilla extract into the whipped coffee mixture.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the milk over the ice.
  6. Spoon the whipped coffee mixture evenly over the top of the milk.
  7. Stir before drinking to combine the layers.

Notes
