Description

A simple recipe for flavorful shrimp cooked in garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Do not brown the garlic.
  3. Add the shrimp, lemon juice, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  4. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  5. Remove from heat. Stir in the chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Serve this shrimp over white rice to soak up the extra sauce.
  • You can substitute lime juice for lemon juice if desired.
