Description

Bite-sized cheeseburger filling wrapped in dough, seasoned with garlic and Parmesan cheese, then baked.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 package (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Stir in the mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic into the beef mixture.
  4. Flatten each biscuit piece slightly. Place about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center of each biscuit.
  5. Wrap the dough around the meat mixture and pinch the edges together to seal completely, forming a ball. Place the sealed balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture over the tops of the dough balls.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the meat is cooked through.

Notes

  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • You can use pre-cooked bacon bits in the meat mixture for extra flavor.
