Description
Quickly cooked steak bites coated in garlic butter and served with a simple Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes evenly with salt and pepper.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
- Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
- Stir in the chopped parsley just before serving.
Notes
- You can use any tender cut of steak, such as filet mignon or ribeye, for this recipe.
- For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese instead of pre-shredded.
