  3. Cut the watermelon in half from top to bottom.
  4. Place one half cut-side down.
  5. Cut the half into thick slices, about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut the rind off each slice.
  7. Cut the remaining flesh into triangular or rectangular pieces.
  8. Serve immediately.
