Description

A simple, refreshing non-alcoholic drink made with fresh berries and sparkling water.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the blueberries and blackberries in a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker.
  2. Muddle the berries gently until they release their juices.
  3. Add the lime juice and simple syrup to the muddled berries. Stir well.
  4. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the berry mixture over the ice.
  6. Top with sparkling water or club soda.
  7. Stir lightly to combine.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter drink, increase the simple syrup amount slightly.
  • If you do not have fresh berries, frozen berries work well; thaw them slightly before muddling.
  • Garnish with a few extra berries or a lime wheel.
