Description
A simple, refreshing non-alcoholic drink made with fresh berries and sparkling water.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup (or to taste)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the blueberries and blackberries in a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker.
- Muddle the berries gently until they release their juices.
- Add the lime juice and simple syrup to the muddled berries. Stir well.
- Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the berry mixture over the ice.
- Top with sparkling water or club soda.
- Stir lightly to combine.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the simple syrup amount slightly.
- If you do not have fresh berries, frozen berries work well; thaw them slightly before muddling.
- Garnish with a few extra berries or a lime wheel.
