Beef Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs

Savory ground beef, bacon, and cheese baked inside biscuit dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  5. Fold the edges of the biscuit up and over the filling, pinching the seams together firmly to seal the filling inside, forming a ball. Place the sealed balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and water. Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with the egg wash.
  7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the beef is cooked through.
