Description
Savory ground beef, bacon, and cheese baked inside biscuit dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined.
- Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the edges of the biscuit up and over the filling, pinching the seams together firmly to seal the filling inside, forming a ball. Place the sealed balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and water. Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with the egg wash.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the beef is cooked through.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite burger condiments like ketchup or mustard for dipping.
- You can substitute Monterey Jack cheese for cheddar if you prefer.
