- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the cod fillets in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of the fillets.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute cod with other firm white fish like haddock or tilapia.
